She never spoke unless spoken to and avoided anything that involved a group of people. Chronic skipping had become her best friend. Carson didn't want to go back to school and pretend as if everything was okay. Nothing was okay in her world. Ever since Blake Richardson, her life had been turned upside down. It was hard to cover her feelings when everyone was asking her if she was alright. There was no way she was going to keep it together and the more questions people asked her about it only made things worse. Her parents and friends thought she was upset about Jonathan, but he wasn't even half of her troubles. Covering the bruises on her neck were easier to do when she was alone. The only way to protect herself was to push everyone else away.
Today she was going to break her own boundaries and head to the mall. She hardly cared about the threat posted on the bathroom wall because those were just words. Words were harmless. Instead, she was terrified of the person who wrote it. She had no way of knowing who it was for sure unless she met them as directed so. Carson almost ignored the warning until she thought about who could have posted the threat. What if it was Blake? This was her chance to finish whatever he had started once and for all. She could confront her fear and possibly gain some of her dignity back. It seemed unlikely though that he would want to meet her in a mall filled with people. Whoever it was, she was afraid of them but that didn't mean she had to let them know that. She didn't want to know what they had in store for her if she didn't show up.
Carson dressed in a baggy sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants. There was only so much she could cover with makeup and if it was Blake who was waiting for her at the mall, there was no way in hell she was going to wear something "revealing". In fact, never again would she. Sex was something she didn't even want to think about. It only triggered the memories that she couldn't help but replay in her mind. She could see Blake's face lingering above hers as his hands roamed her defenseless body. She remembered pleading with him to stop. Carson curled up into a small ball as she sat on her bed and cried. She cried until she couldn't any longer and got up to wipe her face with a few tissues. She wandered into her bathroom and turned on the light. She wasn't surprised by the face that blinked back at her in the mirror. Her eyes were bloodshot and her cheeks flushed from crying. She didn't feel like herself anymore but she wasn't shocked that she didn't feel the same. So much had happened that changed everything she had ever believed in. She felt used, broken and dirty. No amount of showers were going to take away the feeling of his skin against hers.
Carson blotted on some make up to fix her appearance. She wanted to at least look somewhat presentable if she had to be around other people. She then pulled her hair up into a loose ponytail and walked out of the bathroom to grab her keys that were on her nightstand. The drive took a few minutes and once she arrived and parked, her nerves took over. She closed her eyes and counted to ten slowly before she got out of the car and forced herself to walk through the entrance of the big mall. She pulled her hood up and pushed her hands into her pocket on her sweater and attempted to blend in with a crowd walking towards the food courts.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Just a warning, I decided to do something a bit different with his so that you know what he's been going through since his little issue with her on msn. I hope you don't get too confused, if you do.. I'll try to explain xD and also, I don't really know if I'll do that on the next reply or not. Who knows yet? xD
------------------ earlier that day ------------------
Jesse had no idea what he was doing, he kept pacing back and forth in his apartment continuously taking a drag of his cigarette. He sighed deeply as he put it out in the ash tray. It was filled up to the brim once more, he looked at it with a disgusted look on his face and shook his head.
He took one last look around his apartment, it was a mess.. There was clothes everywhere, who knew which was dirty and which wasn't. Also there were beer bottles collecting in a whole pile, not to mention some of them were half empty.. Recent ones, no less. He bit his bottom lip and left the apartment, shutting the door with a slam. He almost didn't even bother to lock it. What was the point? He had nothing of interest in it, but he knew it was better safe than sorry.
He messed with his tie, trying to adjust it. It was one of his nervous habits, lately that's all that was surfacing.. All of his nervous habits. And, he had good reason too, he was jonesin' for a seventeen-year old student, Carson Mackenzie Parker, and she was soon-to-be eighteen but it still felt wrong to him. There was also a rumor going around she had feelings for Jonathan Collins, the ex-star quarterback. He frowned thinking back to that night that the bastard from the other team, Blake Richardson, wasted Jonathan's chances of going pro.
But in all actuality, Jonathan had confided in Jesse about wanting to become an actor and he had helped him out with private acting lessons on top of Jonathan regularly attending classes like the rest of the kids did. Although, Carson never once wanted to, and he knew why.. She didn't want anything to do with him after school, and after that incident on msn. He shrugged his shoulders as he got out of his Chevy Cruze and made his way into the mall.
------------------ current ------------------
As soon as he caught sight of Carson, he couldn't help but to smile. Of course, he knew that she didn't dress as revealing as he wanted her to, but it didn't matter. She looked beautiful in anything, and he was sure she knew that. He stood up from where he was sitting in the food court and made his way toward her, and all the while his smile kept getting wider and wider. He cleared his throat before speaking up, his Australian accent mixing into his Texas drawl, "Hello there Carson."

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Carson had always been a temperamental little girl but today she was more so then ever. Her emotions were strung out all over the place and she couldn't tell you how she was feeling at any exact moment. Except for right now. Mr. king had caught her off guard, certainly. Part of her deep down was extremely relieved that Jesse had been the one to meet her here instead of Blake. The image of the look on his face as he tortured her slowly using his body was forever imprinted in her mind and seeing Blake would make her gag with disgust. At least they were from different schools. She couldn't imagine how much harder this would be if he went attended school with her. "Hello there Carson." That phrase echoed throughout the food court. Carson looked up at him. She looked like a small child in fear.. her eyes were wide and the expression on her face was stamped with uncertainty that soon twisted into a smile. Even though she had previously been quite pissed off at him, she needed him right now more then ever. She didn't have anyone else to turn to except him and although she considered herself his equal, she still looked up to him as a type of authority. He was her teacher after all. He made her feel safe and she needed that now more then ever.
Even though there were a million people circling the mall and any one of them could be a student she still wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She pressed her head against his chest and closed her eyes briefly. "You have no idea how glad I am to see you right now." All the anger she had felt towards him evaporated the second he smiled at her and she wanted nothing more then for him to just hold her. That's all she had ever wanted. It does sound cheesy but Jesse had nothing to offer except what every girl in the world wants; security. "I need to talk to you... but in private. Not here. I don't want anyone to accuse you of something that will put your job in danger" she whispered into his ear softly as she pulled herself away from him.
Carson didn't know if she had the heart or the guts to tell him what happened. She was afraid that if she told anyone they would want her to report him which would only make things worse. She didn't need the publicity and to be honest, she just wanted for it to go away. As if it had never happened. She was also worried that maybe nobody would believe her. It did certainly look strange that she would claim to be raped by the very boy who put her love interest into the hospital. She didn't want to embarrass herself if people didn't quite think she was credible. If anything she could always say she needed to talk to him about their last conversation which wouldn't be a lie. He was rude and deserved a good tongue lashing for being such a jack ass but she wasn't in the mood to complain. She was too grateful for his presence to do that to him. She needed him right now even if she didn't want to admit it.

As soon as Carson hugged him, his heart skipped a beat. He bit his bottom lip and paused before returning her hug. Although, he didn't care what other people thought about him hugging someone who was underage. For all they knew, she could be related to him or something.. And as far as the students knowing about her hugging him or vice versa, it didn't matter.
He kissed the top of her head, as if an impulse and then bit his bottom lip again unsure of her response to that. And then he nodded slightly, "Okay.. So where do you want to go so that we can talk..? And look, if it's about me.. Uh feelings, I'll stop you right there before we even talk.. I'm sorry for being an asshole." he sighed deeply and let go of her. Then he took a step back away from her and gave her some space, although it was quite certain that she didn't want any but oh well. He wanted space so he gave her some as well.
He shuffled his feet a bit, slightly uncomfortable just standing there in the middle of the food court. He had so many things running through his mind, and some of those things he knew that he could never tell her and other things he knew that he could never do. What was the point? She was Jon's and Jon was hers. That was it, and that's how it should be. After all, Jesse is just their teacher.. Nothing more and nothing less, so therefore he knew that it was the way it should stay.
But, who could blame him for wanting more than that? He's human after all.
